September 29: Students went over topics. We went over maps and had class quiz and had extra credits points. We went over current events and watched 3 videos first one about ISIS and they Skype and interview with an ISIS fighter. 2nd video was President Obama talk about ISIS and the 3rd video was how ISIS is telling people to do lone wolf attacks.
September 30: We took all three of map test and we got the map of Canada to fill out. Talked about the issue going on in Hong Kong. The elections are coming up people are protesting especially the young people. Hong Kong say the people protesting is against their laws and they are criminals so they have used teargas on the people protesting. The people are protesting for more freedom. We talked about the beheading in Oklahoma the person that was beheading he was Islamic and had a picture of Osama bin laded. Reports say he lost his job and was upset and went in with knife and beheaded the person. Man could of possible been a bedroom radical.
October 1st: Talked about how we did on the map test and talked about grade point averages. Watched an video about how much gas and missiles cost. Watched another about Ebola. The first case of Ebola in the United states in Dallas. Patient flew from Liberia and to Dallas and felt fine the first days then after felt sick. Did key questions.
October 2nd: Went over map test and filled map in. Talked about current events. Turkey hasn't joined the fight. Bedroom radical cross through turkey to get to Syria. ISIS is close to the Turkey border. North Korea digging tunnels to south. Ebola virus in Dallas went from 12 contacts to 80 contacts. Started key questions.
October 3rd.Filled in Island on map of Canada. Went over topics for test. Why did Us go to war in Iran? Because 911. Why did Us go to war in Iraq? Thought they has nuclear weapons.
