So today in CWI we talked more about our Taliban and al-Queda and 9-11 blogs. We were pretty much done on 9-11 so we just skimmed it and went on to the Taliban. So I learned that the Taliban is basically a government in Afganistan. They are horrible, you can't cheer at sporting events, women are looked down at and always have to be covered, and you can't have technology.Then we went on to al-Queda. They are basically a terrorist group that the Taliban support. The Taliban allow them to train and do other things in the country. The al-Queda are most infamous for their attacks on 9-11, but they have done other things as well. They bombed a US ship I believe and they bombed two hotels in Yemen I think. They have also tried to bomb the World Trade Center before 9-11. They thought it would kill a lot of people, but only six died, many others were injurded.
