Today we talked about the test we will have on Friday. Friday will be the first official workday to work on chapters 5-8. The test on Friday will be like the last oral test that we took. The best thing to do for these tests to prepare is to prepare orally. There will most likely not be a podcast for this test, but you can check out Mr. Brun's and other powerpoints made. Things we need to know for this test are the JFK Assassination, the Obama speech to the students, and you need to know things about September 11, the war in Afghanistan, the Taliban, and Al Qaueda. We are officially starting a project today. Over the course of next week we will be researching chapters/sections 5,6,7, and 8. We will be presenting to the class the most important part from our chapter/section. You can present in any format you like, although Mr. Bruns highly recommends something that has to do with technology. Use the objectives at the begenning of the section to know what to present, the objectives are mainly over the main points in the chapter. We will present in class sometime next week. This presentation will be worth 100pts, and because it is the second presentation Mr. Bruns expects improvements. I will be doing chapter 8, lesson 3, Segregation and Discrimination. The blog assignment for this week is to pick something in your section that you would like to learn more about. If there is nothing in your section that interests you, well then too bad, find something anyways and pretend it interests you. There will be no discussion on Monday because we will be talking about it in our presentations.Al QaedaWar in Afghanistan
