Monday- we reviewed the carribean map. We also talked more on ISIS.
Ethnic Cleansing- their goal is to kill all of a specific race (gasing people)
Genocide- mass killing of the same race (holocaust)
Tuesday- We took the map class test. We also discussed the forum posts. We talked about a guy that jumped the fence at the white house, who had a 3 1/2 inch knife. The white house was evacuated, and Obama was just left before this happened.
A fighter is a plane that shoots/fights other aircraft.
Moch speed is the speed of sound, which is 750 mph.

Wednesday- Today we discussed about Obama adressing the United Nations. Also we talked more on Key questions.
Thursday- we talked about violent riots in Ferguson. We also talked about sexism. Sexism is racism against genders. Girls start school in elementary and they are better in math. As time goes on, boys catch up to girls and become dominant. Women make less money than men. In 1920, women finally got to vote. Before the 1970's, there wasn't many sports for women. We also talked about gender stereo types.
Friday- Today we talked more on sexism. Also we talked about if softball sexist. We also watched a video of Emma Watson who addresses the United Nations. She believes that men and women should have equal rights.
