Today in CWI, we first went over the european countries we learned yesterday. I think that test will be really hard. Next we looked at what ex-president Carter had to say about people being racist towards Obama. I think that the younger people in this country are very accepting of different nationalities. The older people may be more racist because what they grew up with, but I don't think there are too many of them left.Next, we divided into which side will we be representing in our debate. One side is researching the democratic views, and the other republican. I am a republican, but I'm on the democratic sign. I disagree with most things that the democrats believe in, such as I think abortion is totally and completely wrong. The only acception that I think would be okay is if the mother will die during labor or carrying the child. Here is a list of the topics we are researching.-abortion-flag burning-gun control-environmental laws-affirmative action laws-immigration-minimum wage-health care-taxes-military spending-death penalty-gay marriage-prayer in school-US role in the world--Iraq-US role in the world--Afghanistan-Us role in the United Nations
