Cultures Clash on the Praire
4 major tribes Dakota, Cheyenne, Sioux, and Comanche. Plains Indians used every part of the buffalo when they killed it, they followed buffalo when they migrated. Indians believed in many gods such as sun, moon, stars. They had celebrations called pow wows. The first horses the plain indians got were from the spanish. They usually lived in small families. The more white settlers moved westward the farther the Plain Indians were pushed west. 1858 the finding of gold in Colorado attracted thousands of settlers.
