Monday 9/29- We discussed the forums posts, talking about what each is and our opinions. We then did the South America map class quiz, and went over the other two maps for our test tomorrow.Also talked about the Middle East question doc.
ISIS - trying to get bedroom radicals to go and attack people, well prepared for collision air strikes that we did, Abrahaman- ISIS fighter, that CNN interview, that wouldn't talk to a woman but Skyped a video,was given permission that went to Iraqi border with permission from leader that they knew what we were going to do. Young people are joining more and he is one that wants to form an Islamic state, but no the way that ISIS wants to do it.
Al queda and Iraq have become ISIS-ISIL
We underestimated ISIS and overestimated how well we thought Iraq would fight back- will to fight isn't there.
Bedroom radicals are wanted to be attackers by ISIS- In US and Europe, keep trying to get citizens to join them,
Tuesday 9/30- We took the Latin American quiz
Hon Kong- more freedoms and rights are supposed to be coming, they want more freedom based on the deal that came when they joined China,
- Communist- not a lot of freedoms- not a lot of human rights there,
- Video Game counsel was sold- first one in fifteen years
Wednesday 10/1-
Current Events-- We talked about sexism and how it deals with GPA, we talked about the Latin American quiz taken yesterday, and to start on the Canadian map.
- Ebola Outbreak in United States- Man from Liberia on September 19th and came in on the 20th, felt sick on 24th and was diagnosed in the United States being the first confirmed case in the United States. They are searching for all people who made contact with him. on the 28th he went into the hospital and on the 26 went for an appointment but wasn't tested.
- Cost of Airstrikes on Syria- $1 billion. 4 tomahawk missiles 1.5 million dollars a piece together jets with munition is 22 -62 thousand an hour, JDAM 29 thousand
- 7.5 million dollars a day

After WWI, Turkey our alley became an Islamic democracy. We want Turkey to join against ISIS and participate in attacks to secure its borders, because bedroom radicals and terrorist groups may be entering their country soon.
Friday- TEST starting Tuesday--May be over 100 endanger for Ebola, Thomas Duncan, they are being monitored.
Duncan was tested three times and it was negative before flying, but he lied about not having any contact with any Ebola passengers, and the hospital, flights, and all relatives or that have made contact with him are being closely monitored.
We are sending 3,000 troops their, to help the cause on Ebola. There are restrictions, and only military personnel, volunteer doctors, or special people are only allowed over there.
Leon Panetta- says obama ignored his advice in Iraq, and he was very high up in Cabinet position as defense secretary, he thinks that we should have stayed there,
