They say women should have the rights to their own bodies. So they are for it. Republicans believe that you shouldn't have to make babies suffer for your choices. So they have mixed feelings on the topic. Republicans sat that they are very against it. This means that only certain people can have certain types of guns and must have certain reasons. Democrats don't think that we should drill for oil in Alaksa. They are concerned that it will have negative impact on the environment. So they want to keep the environment very nice. The Republicans say that the world has been around so long that we really couldn't ruin it now.5.immigration: The Democrats think that we cannot continue to allow people enter the United States undetected, undocumented, and unchecked. They believe that we should secure our borders. The Republicans say the same thing6.-minimum wage: Democrats support what the minimum wage is or having the minimum wage be higher. The Republicans think that is causes more unemployment when its raised.7.health care: Democrats believe that everyone should be able to have affordable healthcare. Republicans agree and say that is isnt fair to make people pay more for it.8.taxes: The Democrats believe that the wealthy should have to pay higher taxes and the middle class should pay the same as always. Republicans think that everyone should pay the same price for taxes.9.US role in the world--Iraq: Democrats believe that the war in Iraq should come to a responsible end which means that the sooner we leave Iraq the more quickly Iraq will become stable. Republicans believe that we should stay in Iraq and Afghanistan until the war is won.4. Students will understand the causes and effects of overpopulation.Over population is not as much a cause by the more people on the planet it is the result of industrialized countries consuming so much and having alot more things. In the people bomb they talked about how a family of 4 in America is more of a problem than a femily of 10 living in a poor 3rd world country.Over population can consume a city like Rio in brazil. The more people there are the less things there are for us to have.5. Students will understand the impact of globalization.The world is more industrialized and shipping communication and transportation are easier than they were in the past., And aslo the two periods that we were in is now ending they were dominated by white people not hey will be dominated by Indian People and asian people because they will do the same work for less money.6. Students will be able to locate major countries of the world.7. Students will be able to explain their understanding of recent current events(Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Darfur, Rwanda, Somalia).-The things that are happening is considered a Anarchy because there is an absence of government it is ruled by groups of pirates and dictators.-Darfur is where the Sudan Government is trying to get rid of black Africans from the state of Darfur so that There Arab Government can Go there to farm.-Rwanda happened in 1994 the Tutsi people where massacred by the Hutu people because of years of European control by the Belgians who believed that the Tutsi where superior and they oppressed the Hutu's so the Hutu's got revenge of the Tutsi by murdering over 900,000 Tutsi.- The reason we are in Afghanistan is because of 9/11 and Bin Ladin went to hide there he was the one behind that attack ond the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.-The reason we went to Iraq was different although many people believe that we went there because of 9?11 but thats wrong. We went there in search of (WMD) or Weapons of Mass Distruction we thought that the President of Iraq Saddam Hussien was hideing them there.-Iran has ties to Iraq. Iran was the one supplying the (WMDs) to Saddam Hussien. Also the President of Iran Amadini Jahad who was just a face man For Anatola Komaini Hated the US for protecting Isreal He believes that that land belongs to the Islams.
