The United Nations tried to hold back future iraqi act towards lethal arms programs, including those for the deveopment of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons.

United Nations would have inspections in the 1990's and they found a lot of different kinds of weapons and banned technology throughout Iraq.

Iraq interfered with the United Nations inspections and that fustrated the international community. So in 1998, Bill Clinton ordered for a bombing for a few different iraqi military installations.

Time went on and Iraq made sure nobody could get through to inspect and a couple of years later, countried by Iraq want to reopen trade with it.

i think that the poeple in iraq should have just cooperated with the united nations and let them

have their inspections instead of not letting anybody make it through into their countryy..
