Today in CWI, Justice started the class period by telling us about her blog she wrote last week since she has been gone. She talked about a Japanese American family. One of the parents was Japanese, and the other was American. They ended up getting divorced, but the husband came back to Japan to get the kids and took them. He got caught and now he's in custody. Then we somehow got on the topic of swine flu. We all seem to agree they are making a way to big of a deal about it. Mr. Bruns explained to us about are assigned blog. We have to explain what a "failed state" is then sumarize two stories that go with a failed state. That shall be fun. (: Mr. Bruns then explained to us this new ITED extra credit deal. If we score with in the 70-90 percentile we will get quite a few extra credit points. Which means this will help our grades a lot!We finally finished our democrate/ republican debate! Woohoo! We talked about the US's role in the war in Iraq. Democrats think we need to focus more on Afgahnistan. Republicans think we need to just stay until the war is won. We then talked about the United Nations. Democrates believe it will help solve the worlds problems.
