so today in class, we each talked about our free choice blogs. i talked about the typhoon ketsana. it killed 240 ppl and there were some injuries. taylor talked about a storm that hit the same area that ketsana hit. erin talked about wild fires. it burned a lot of land. they had to evacuate schools. they are still trying to contain the fires. two girls were found in tennessee with there dad and one of the girls was 12 years old and pregnant. the dad got in trouble for not seeking the medical attention that she needed. lauren talked about this 70 year old man that ran 163 marathons. the man had alcoholic problems earlier in life. dru talked about yom kippur. its a jewish holiday where you ask for forgiveness. you wear white and fast. max talked about a new development that makes you stronger. its legal unlike roids. it has eggplant extract and makes your muscles grow while you sleep. eli talked about this guy that won the lottery during his court case for embezzling money. hahaha..irony! fergie ferg talked about a lot of soldiers getting killed in afghanistan on saturday.
