Populist Movement- people who weren't making a lot of money started this... 1990's... started Omaha Nebraska... Helped farmers out of dept... wanted shorter work days... give people a greater voice in gov. because people wanted more of a say... they wanted to give everyone a chance with voting especially women.. farmers wanted inflation so they could pay their dept back easier and their crop prices would go up.. The Wizard of oz represents the movement
Graduated income tax- the more money you make the higher percentage of tax you more .. the rich kinda dominate this cause they like to find loop holes around paying more taxes... flat taxes is when everyone pays the same taxes..
