Monday- El Baghdadi's assassination was yesterday. McKinley was assassinated by Leon Czolgosz.
Tuesday- Most kids worked in factories. Women pushed for the right to vote, to get rid of alcohol, kids attending school, and to end slavery. Studied the 3 R's reading, riting, rithmetic. The most common way to teach is the lecture because people couldn't read.
Wednesday- In 1910 only 3% of African Americans attended high school. Immigrants were encouraged to go to school much more because they were wanted to be more American.
Thursday- Watched segregation video.
