So today in CWI we started by talking about how we don't have school Monday because of the football game, and we get out early on Thursday for a teachers day. We have the Asian test on Thursday and Friday. He also said that we are going to start on our projects today so that we get a head start. We then went over the Asian map. The former soviet republic countries are still the hardest. I don't think I will have a hard time with any of the others. After that we went over the rules for our projects. He said not to read and to face the audiance. He also pointed out that you are suppose to incorperate your visuals in your project. He meant that you shouldn't have your pictures at the end, and you should explain them. After that we started to work on our projects. My groups project is about deforestation. We started by making a zoho page with our title and stuff like that on it. We then split up the titles into things like what people are doing to stop it, what effect it has on the world, what causes deforestation, and examples of deforestation. I learned that 30% of the world is covered with forests. That is approximatly 3,952,025 acers of land. That is as far as I got on research today. That's what I learned today in CWI.
