So today in CWI we started by going over the Asian map.We now have studied all of the maps in class. I still think that the former soviot union countries are going to be the hardest. It just has too many countries with funny names that all sound the same. So that's the part where I will need to study the most. I am kind of worried that it's a oral test, because I'm not sure if I can pronounce them and keep them straight. Then Mr. Bruns did a recap of yesterday. I remembered that we talked about how we made a no fly zone in Iraq to keep them from destroying the Kurds and other groups of people. Also, we put sankshins on them which means that we don't trade with them so that they don't have supplies and will stop what they're doing. Lastly, Mr. Bruns reminded us that us being there ticked off the middle east so that's what started the terrorist attacks. Then we moved on. Mr. Bruns said the Bsh didn't want to set a time table because what if we're not done, then the terrorists will wait and then take over again. Megan talked about Saddam Hussain. She said that he ran a way from his dad and moved in with his uncle. She also said that he was a teacher before he became the president of Iraq. We all agreed that that was really really weird. Anyway, that's what I learned today in CWI.
