So today in CWI we started by going over the Asian map. We went over the middle east, far east, Australia/New Zealand, and then we added a new one. My opinon has definatly changed. I now think that the middle east is easy and that the hardest part is the former soviet republics. It's really hard with all of the "stan's" in it. I did learn where those countries are, but I forgot again so I'll have to study a lot on that part.We then moved on to talk about Saddam Hussain. Mr. Bruns said that the Saddam put his picture and statues everywhere, and Mr. Bruns said that that is to remind them that they are suppose to behave themselves or something bad will happen. He also wanted them to see him like propaganda. Then we talked about why we invaded Iraq. We went to war because we didn't want Iraq to have the oil in Kuwait and we also didn't thinkit was right for them to invade Kuwait. Then I learned about sankshins. They basically keep people from trading with a country. It's to try to have a country stop doing what ever they are doing by not having their inports and outports. That's what I learned about today in CWI.
