Climate change- we have more severe droughts, coral reefs dying, food prices are going to go up, pollen allergies are getting worst, endangered species are going to die out, deforestation might happen, droughts will kill crops, crop prices will go up.

Immigration:
You can climb over a fence, dig a hole under it, or in some cases swim around it. It is not american for us to do that. The department of homeland security guards the walls so the immigrants won't get through tho the other side. There are 11 to 12 million immigrants here in America. Amnesty- you can stay here, you will come clean, pay taxes, etc. If you don't do these things you can be forced out of the country. Obama is streamlining our immigration system.
Landmines- explosives underground, man made
Every year landmines kill or injure 4,000 people, allies with America can technically pace mines for america where they fell, every 1 in 5 deaths for m a land mine is a child.
They are trying to keep people out of an area (defensive use).
Wednesday-
Short day, so we talked about the elections. In Iowa, Joni Ernst (Republican) beat Bruce Braley (Democrat.)
Nationwide, it was a good election for Republicans. The Democrats didn't fair too well, but it is largely due to the fact that most groups that typically vote Democrat didn't have a large voter turnout. Most people who vote Democrat are minorities (African American,) young people, and women, and there was a low voter turnout for these groups. However, because most Republicans are older and more conservative and voting was number one on their list of things to do, there was a larger voter turnout for them and led to their having more votes.
The 2016 Presidential Elections are still looking good for the Democrats.
