- Islamic countries in the world are located in the Middle East. The Islamic crescent and stars is the international symbol for Islam

- Muslims are people the practice Islam
- The word "Muslim" means one who submits to the will of God, regardless of his/her race, nationality or ethnic background

- Mecca is the most holy place for muslims
