Today in class we finished up Fridays presentation and talked more about IPCC. Ways to help save energy and prevent global warming is unplug things when not using them, ride bikes or walk places, and in winter keep air down and dress warmer in your house. Next they talked about The Clean Air Act. Then they finished up with there sources slide. This group had good information and allowed us time to copy down information to are blog post. Next group was Jena, Dru, and Haley they had Overpopulation. There is a decline in health rate, increased birth rate, Migration, and lack of education in third world countries. Some effects are natural resources get used up, destroy biological diversity, lower water levels, pullution, destroy o zone layer, heat waves, droughts, forest dying, sea levels rise, more rapid spread of disease, and more storms. The food chain will get ruined in the pollution process. Solutions are educate people, two babies per person, reducing the number of humans is the ultimate answer.
