We began class by finishing up our free choice blog descussion. Lauren went first and talked about a billion people in the world starving. If every person that goes on the internet donated a dollar each day the got on it this would not be as big of an issue. Becca talked about a 13 month boy that died a few months after a court battle. His dad was fighting his mom in the hospital to keep him on the ventalator keeping him alive. They finally agreed to having him have a planned death. They took him off the ventalator and he died. Nichole talked about a girl that went missing. Her name was Leah. Her mother left for work around 8 in the morning. Her grandmother was coming to pick her up. While she was outside waiting for her grandmother someone came and kiddnapped her. When her mother got home she kept calling her daughter and she wouldnt answer. When she got home she coudnt be found. They found her nightgown and favorite blanket and they were covered in blood. A month later a package was sent to her house addressed to her father and inside it contained her glasses. She has not been found, if she is still alive she would be around her 30's.After the free choice descussion Mr. Bruns went over the rubrics to refresh our minds. My group almost forgot to put in the 5 sources. We are going to work on that today. The rest of class is time for us to work on our projects or anyother things we need to work on.
