So today in CWI we started by going over the Canada map. This was the first day we went over it. At first it seemed kind of hard, but Mr. Bruns said that after you really look at it for about 15 minutes that it should be easy. Then we went over the Friedman video answers. We just reviewed over the first couple of answers because we already went over them. After that started to get into the answers more and explain them more. A few things I remembered and/or learned was that the Berlin wall falling and Netscape going public were big flateners in the world. Offshoring is when a company will close down in say Detroit and new one will open up in China because it's a lot cheaper to build and to pay for workers offshore.Later on we talked about Microsoft and how a lot of people don't like it so they make a produce that it just as good, but it's free. Mr.Bruns said that a lot of people still use Microsoft because they don't know about the free produce. He also said that Brazil is on Lenox as a country. I thought that was interesting. Another thing that he talked about was how someday he could be teaching a class across the world and that a lot of teachers are not ready for that. Then we started our blog discussion. That's what I learned today in CWI.
