brandon;child laborthe progressive error -it was a period of time when people who wanted to make things better with normal or common people like people who worked in factories, men and children..kids from 6-18 would have to work like mines and stuff like small holes men couldnt get through..due to progressive hours kids worked alot.if cought falling asleep or anything like that they were whipped and get there arms cut off.factory owners liked them because it was less pay, and they were forced to work. and they liked there small fingers.the workers went on strike.keating owen act forbidded for the stuff that children made in factories it wouldn't let the object or whatever it is leave iowa.labor laws today, you have to be fourteen years old to work like wealthy countries but not really wealthy kids have to work.ray, workmens comprensation;what did progressives do to make it saffer.?before, when people got hurt on the job you would get fired.they made laws that if you get hurt on the job the boss would have to give you money.workmens comprensation laws.if you died on the job, the wife would get paid. it's life insurance.womens sufferage; april..what is it?before, considered the main person of the home .. cooked cleaned normal stuff.later on they didn't have very much say in things.women usually didn't work,if anything the more poor women got jobs in factories.15th ammendment was the one that let the minorities to vote.women were mad when african american males and black men got to vote, they were supporting them but they werent supporting the women. it was a very racist time.19th ammendment in the 1920'sit was were women could vote.three diff. ways to change so they could vote.1.
