Okay, this is my FIFTH time doing this, because when i upload images, it takes me to the NING page, and i lose it all.. over and over again..On September eleventh, two thousand and one, a disaster occured that effected many in the United States. In New York City, in the early morning, two of four jet planes hijacked by nineteen Al- Qauda terrorists crashed into the Twin Towers, killing all bodies aboard and most of the workers in the buildings. The third plane crashed into the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. The fourth jet plane was accidentally crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.All together,including the hijackers, there were a total of 2,993 people killed in the tragedy of September 11th. The United States reacted to this event by declaring war on Afghanistan to get rid of the Taliban. After this was known world wide, many other countries strengthend their antiterrorists legislation. They are in the process of rebuilding all the damage caused, and as of today only the Pentagon building is completed, already costing billions of dollars.
