About 22,000 years the Native Americans would hunt large animals but then the huge Ice Age came. Then when the water melted the continents were divided. So then the Native Americans could not get to Asia and then back to North America. So then they decided to hunt smaller animals and also gather nuts and berries. About 10,000 to 5,000 years ago some of them stayed in North America but most went to south America to get to Mexico. There they began to plant corn and other vegetables. Even though some of them stayed in one place some of them moved fom place to place to search for food and water. Other tribes were nomadic and non-nomadic. Eventually in the 1400's the Renaissance came to be. Then Colombus came and thought he discovered the New World but he just ended up in Asia. He continued to search and eventually landed in America . He was greated there by Native Americans who have never seen a white person before. When they greated him they also brought him and his shipmates food and drink. Then he thought that he could just take their land and make it his own. He also turned most of them into slaves but if they did not do what he says they were killed. My opinion on what happended then is that Colombus had no right to take something that was not his. I also think that putting the Native Americans into slavery was probably the meanest and cruelest thing any human being could have done to another human being.
