For my assigned blog i watched the movie Windtalkers. The movie was about the war with Japan. Joe Enders was the protagonist, which was played by Nicolas Cage. At the biggining of the movie Joe was at the war with Japan. During this part of the war Joe was injured by a big explosion. The explosion injured Joe's left ear and he went deaf.
A few months past and Joe wanted to go back to war. Joe couldn't really hear and he had to take a test to prove that he was fine and he could go back to fight in the war. When he went to take the test there was this lady and she liked him. The lady help Joe Cheat on his test. She would stand behind the guy that was giving Joe the hearing test and she would give him a thumbs up when it was a certain side. Joe passed his test and he was able to go to the war. Before Joe jeaving to the war he was promoted to sergeant.
Joe went to war and there was two Navajo guys. Joe Enders had to protect Ben Yahzee. Ben Yahzee was a Navajo code talker. The movie had a series of fights but at one point the U.S. was fighting and killing their own people. Joe and Ben had to go over to the Japanese side and get their location so the people from the ships in the water would be able to fire them.
Joe killed a Japanese man and took of his helmet and ben put it on. Ben and Joe went over to the Japaneses so they could get the location. Ben took the Japanese radio and talked to the Navajo code talker. There was this other war and the Japanese were about to capture a the other Navajo code talker. Ben saw that the Japanese were taling him. The Navajo was telling Joe to throw a grenade so they wouldnt take him. Joe hesitated to throw the grenade because Ben would be upset. So Joe threw the grenade and killed the Japanese and the code talker, Ben got mad.
I really liked this movie. It has alot of violence but its a good movie. Im not really into action movies but this one is good. I really recommend this movie.
