Pearl Harbor
Two childhood friends Rafe McCawley and Danny Walker who have both dreamed of flying join the Army Air Corps together a few years before WW2 starts. Rafe soon falls in love with a Navy Nurse Evelyn Johnson. Later on Rafe joins the British air corps and then is shot down in battle and reported killed in action. Both Danny and Evelyn are stationed in Pearl Harbor and eventually fall in love. Rafe then turns up alive and finds out that Danny was with Evelyn and the two friends become enemies. In the midst of this love triangle Japan leads an unexpected attack on Pearl Harbor. Forced to work together to survive Rafe and Danny become friends once more. Both are promoted to captain and then go on a secret mission to lead an attack straight into the heart of Japan.
I did enjoy the movie even though I don't much enjoy love triangles. It did a great job of showing what the attack on Pearl Harbor was like. I give it a 4 out of 5.
