Saving Private Ryan
This was a great movie! I always love war movies. This is probably one of my favorite war movies. I give this a 5/5. It doesn’t really get boring at all. It was very informational about how they fought. There tactics, and what weapons they used. Like how they had to fight their way on to the beach with mortar fire, and machine guns all shooting at them. I also like how they didn’t really hold back on how gruesome of a war it really was. Tom Hanks did a really good job as the main character, and the movie had a good story behind it. Having a mother of four, and three of them die. But Americans find out that there is one more brother still alive, but he is captured and they have to get him back. It was just a good and true story which made it kind of even better. My favorite part of the movie was definitely when there was an enemy sniper in a tower. Another thing that I liked in the movie is when a German solider lets an American solider live after the German solider had just killed the Americans friends. Then at the end of the movie the American soldier takes them hostage, and just shoots the German who killed his friends. Holding American in place, and the American sniper shot him through his scope. I have heard about that before, and have even watch the Myth busters test it on their show. Over all I think that the director Spielberg did a very good job! Again 5 out of 5 I love that movie with all the action and historical facts stuck in their too.
