The Pianist
A famous Jewish pianist working for the Radio the outbreak of World War II. Radio station is shaked by explosions from the Germans bombing.He goes home and finds out that the United Kingdom and France declared war with Nazi Germany.His family celebrated, they thought that the war would have ended fast. But, they were wrong some guys went into an apartment buliding and told one family to all get up. An older man was in a wheel chair and couldn't so they threw him over a balcony. Then everyone else in the family had to go into the street and got shot then ran over by the Nazi people. As the Jews are getting put into cars the pianist gets saved from getting put into one but his family still gets put into the cars. He goes into hiding into an apartment thats supposed to be empty and he knocks down somethings on accident. The neighbor comes over and knocks on the door and tells him to come out or she will call the police so when she goes back into her apartment he leaves and people are screaming its the Jew get him! He gets away and then he goes hiding into an attic and a German reconizes and finds out that hes a pianist and asks him to play him something on the piano then he lets the pianist stay there and he brings him food. Later on the German asks the Pianist his name so he can listen for him on the radio. Then the German gives him his coat and then people start shooting at him because they think he is a German but he gets them to stop. Then he continues being a Pianist.
I thought the movie was ok and it was at first kind of hard to follow... then after that it was fine.
