Today is a blog discussion day. We were talking about our movies that we watched.
Sam watched Pearl Harbor. He thought it was good, but it was long. Most WWII videos are pretty longs. It’s about these childhood friends who both go in the army. This one guy gets shot and they think he’s dead. It talks about how Japan plans to attack Pearl Harbor.
Kelsey, Brooke, Shelbie, Steph and Brandon watched the Boy in the Striped Pajamas. It’s about this boy who becomes friends with another boy from a concentration camp. They become friends and Bruno gives the boy food and stuff.
Amanda, Me, Whitney, Chelsea, Kelsey T, Ashley, Jackie, Ray, and Bre watched Windtalkers. It’s about this guy who had to protect this Navajo code talker and this other one gets captured and he has to kill him. Then his code talker got mad and tried to kill him and then they were fighting the Japanese. In the end the Enders guy dies.
Josh and Alex watched Saving Private Ryan. There was this mother who lost three of her sons and there was still one son left alive and they were going to get him so he wouldn’t die. They found the brother and they told him but he didn’t want to go home because he wanted to earn his way back home. In the end Ryan is saved but everyone is mad because they didn’t want to go to save just one person.
Kody and Nick watched Thin Red Line. These Platoons are making there way up a hill to find the Japanese. When they get to the top they can’t find the Japanese. I guess it was a very confusing movie and they really couldn’t talk about it much.
Joe watched Band of Brothers. It’s a mini series.
