Today in U.S. History I actually started my powerpoint. I learned that there was an Indian tribe called Iowa. There tribe was mostly settled down by the lower part of the Mississippi River. The tribe Osage was also located down there. They had hunted and planted crops for more then a century down there.I also learned that the Great Plains were a grassland that extended from the Mississippi River to the middle west. I feel bad for the Indains, because the white men just kicked htem off the land where they grew up and all their family had grown up. I that was to happen to me I wouldn't be too happy either!
