Today in U.S. History we went over our blog posts. I learned that the first non electric telephone was invented in 1870. I also learned that the first Star Wars movie came out July 21, 1976. There are 6 episodes of star wars already made. They are supposedly be thinking about making the 7th, 8th, and 9th episodes.I also learned that Caster Semenya, the person that ran the in the world 800 meter race, had to get the gender test. It turned out that she/he had external organs of a female and internal organs of a male. Another thing I learned today was that staff was found in 5 different beaches in San Fransisco, California. It was said to be in the water and sand. If staff gets into oped wounds it could be very deadly.I think that the telephone was a really huge invention! Stars Wars doesn't really interest me all that much though. I have never seen and episode and don't really plan on it. I also don't think that the female/male person should be able to compete in an all female race, because I just don't think it would be fair to other competitors. Staff infections really scare me. I know of this guy in our school that actually had or still has it and I am deathly afraid of getting it! But, that's all for today. :D
