Today, the first thing we did was go over the Asia maps. Next, Bruns showed us a powerpoint made by some guy over the flat world. It was really eye opening. Technology is improving very very rapidly and it's like kinda scary. By 2013, there is predicted to be a computer that exceeds the capacity of the human mind. By 2049, there is predicted to be a super computer that exceeds the human race. There is a good possibility a lot of people will be jobless because of all this technology.Technology is changing so quickly though that it's scary. We as people are going to have to adapt and change and the future is really scary at this point.In the first couple minutes of the powerpoint, it told us about the children in China in India. Basically, they have more honor students than we have students. They have a lot of people, and will probably end up taking our jobs. ):
