First thing we did today in CWI was go over the map of the middle east. It went pretty well. Then we discussed our upcoming project):Our group's topic is climate change. We are supposed to research it, them then create a presentation we will present to the class. We're supposed to define the problem, then tell how it is affecting people and what we can do to help solve the issue. We could make a video, but that's probably not going to happen. Or I guess, we could do a combination. Then we discussed our blogs. This week our blog topic was about Senator James Inhofe and his article on global warming. We talked about that he might be a little biased because his supporters are oil companies. We then discussed our free choice blog from last week. Dru talked about a train that got hit by another train in Egypt. There were 15-20 people that died. Justice did hers on a priest that was killed. It was in the state of New Jersey. The custodian and priest got in a fight and the custodian stabbed him to death. . .this was all at a church. He cleaned up everything around the priest, and left him there to die. He also smashed his cell phone so he couldn't call 9-11.Haley did hers on an assistant coach in Florida that brought a knife to practice and started threatening players. Someone turned him in and he got arrested the next day. They also found the knife in his car. Erin did the health bills and congress. They predicted that there will be a big shortage of family doctors, and that's just really messed up right now. Lauren did hers over a girl from Georgia-Florida area who went missing. She was abducted and eventually was found in a landfill, dead. Max did his over the oil fires in Puerto Rico. Jena did hers over the new little dinasour fossil that was recently found. It's really little. Becca did her blog on a 24 year old college student who is now in the hospital because of suicide bombs. He heard the first one, walked outside and got hit by the second one. Taylor did hers about the two car suicide bombings in Baghdad. It killed over 200 people. I did mine on a woman who claimed she had been abused now admits she made it all up.
