Today we had a blog discussion over the WWII movies we watched. Kelsey, Brooke, Steph, Brandon, and I all watched the Boy in the Striped Pajamas. So we all talked about that movie. Amanda, Whitney, Chelsea, Megan, and a few others watched Windtalkers. Windtalkers is about this guy named Joe. He is fighting in the Pacific part of the war and a bomb goes off and he is taken to a hospital. He is hurt for a year but the nurse who is nursing him back to health cheates with a test to help get him out of the hospital and back to the war. A Navajo code talker is a person who translated the language of other countries. Joe had to protect the cotalker so Japan couldn't kill him because he was so valuable. Bre said that the movie was good but it was really bloody.
