Today is Monday and we are spending the day talking about our World War 2 movies. We are nearing the end of 3rd quarter and it is getting down to crunch time for everyone. Mr. Bruns told us that our WW2 presentations will go on as a 4th quarter grade because we a short week and will not be able to get all of the projects in for this week.

Mr. Bruns is now talking about getting extra credit. He says that a great way to earn some extra credit points by earning a WW2 veteran. Now we are getting into our WW2 blogs after a quick writing to learn. The question was "what was the Treaty of Versailles?"

Kyle, Cuddie, and myself will present last. We talked about our movie, "Saints and Soldiers". I'm not going to talk about it on here though. If you want to know about it, read my blog about it. Daja did Schindler's list. The movie is about Oscar Schindler, a Nazi, who felt action needed to be done to help out the persecuted Jews. He employed Jews and he tried to help out all of his employed Jews.

Euchner watched "Enemy at the Gates". This is a story about a sniper who was such a great shot and threat to the axis forces that the Russians had to hire a master sniper to try and kill him. Others watched "The Boy and Striped Pajamas" This movie is about a man who is high up in the German army who moved close to a concentration camp where he was employed. His son makes freinds with a jewish prisoner.

This is all that I can say for today, but there are many great movies about world war 2. Next week we will be doing the same thing; watching a world war two movie and blogging about it. Many of these movies were based on tremendous true feats. It is stories like these that spur the spirit of man.
