We started out class today by going over our next project we’ll be starting soon. It’s called the Hot, Flat, and Crowded project. Each group got assigned a specific topic for this project. Mr. Bruns explained to us all the information that needs to be included with each project and the presentation. There are three different ways we can present our project’s. We can make a powerpoint of it, make a movie of it, or presentation with movie maker. My group got assigned the topic of deforestation. We need to know where it is taking place, be able to define the problem, the cause of it, what the alternatives are, how we can help, and what is being done right now. After Mr. Bruns was done explaining the project, he continued giving people the test over Democrats/Republicans, Iraq, and Iran. The people that haven’t taken it yet got the chance to study. People that already have taken the test got to work on their projects, do message board posts, or study for the Latin American map test coming up. That test will probably be Thursday and Friday of this week. I was one of the people that hasn’t taken the first test yet so I mostly studied for it the entire period but I still didn’t get to go! We will finish up the rest of the tests tomorrow. I’m going to go dead last.
