Today we went over Japan. The Treaty regained independence. Because of high tariffs they could not ship goods out of the country. They decided they needed to invade countries to get those goods. They invaded China then many more. Japan wanted to make a deal with the U.S..U.S.1. How did the Treaty of Versailles impact them?2. Atlantic Charter said we will not come to peace with Germany only until after the Nazi's were destroyed. We wanted to make sure all the land taken by Germany was given back.6. What was the military strategy of this country in the inter-war years(1919-1938)?They wanted to attack by air and faster. They wanted naval bases by Japan so they could attack faster. The economy sky rocketed. Our country became a super power. 300,000 died. The Cold War started.
