Today we had blog discussion over our Iran topics. Matt did his topic on the Iran president. This guy’s name is really hard to spell and pronounce. He is really smart and got extremely good grades in college. The president of Iran also is trying to convince people that the holocaust never happened and that 9/11 was planned by our government. He also believes that Israel should not exist and should be wiped off the face of the earth. Shannon did her blog on the election for this president. He won the election by 52 percent but most of the people think that the election was rigged. Chelsea and Makayla’s blogs were about the United Nations. There are 6 different branches of it and there are 6 different official languages. The United Nations is very powerful and can stop war by trying to help the country in need. It can send troops to come in and help the situation. Iran is giving training to Iraq and getting better at fighting. The two countries are getting involved with each other. There are people from Iran coming over into Iraq to fight help fight against our country. Of course, their president is also denying that this is true. We know that isn’t true because we’ve found weapons that were made in Iraq and Iran. In these country’s religion and government aren’t separate like ours is. Religion and government are together for them; they base their laws of their religion and beliefs.
