Today we had our blog discussion. Morganne did hers on how Georgia (the country) had a broadcast that said that Russia was invading. This was fake Russia was not really invading. They just wanted to know how people would react. Kara did hers on an earthquake in Turkey. Another one was over Justin Beilber. He met Usher. He got second on an American Idol competition. Dani did hers on a woman in Tennessee that was drunk and wondered around a school with a sword. She was looking for some parents that got in a fight with her kid. Another one was about kids using like canned air to get high and it could kill you after just one time. Brittany did hers on an avalanche in Canada. Another one was about how the United Nations and the United States are still helping Haiti. The U.S donated 7 millions dollars and the UN is planning on donating 2 billion dollars. Barack Obama wants to change the no child left behind law.Obama wants to prepare kids for college and for a career. He also will reward the poor schools that are increasing in education.There is this new movie called Dino Shark. The special affects are horrible. Shannon did hers on how China is trying to band eating dog and cat meat. China is trying to make themselves look more
civilized. Matt did his on North Korea and how they are going to continue making nuclear weapons. This a big deal for the U.S because we don't get along well with them.
