Our test over Latin America might be Wednesday and Thursday of next week. Our topics for this week will be over Iran. My assigned blog will be over Iran's nuclear program. Then we worked on discussing our free choice blog topics:
- Georgia the country experimented with their people, saying that Russia was invading and supplied pictures from the past, just to see how their people would react. After the broad cast, their president apologized for the inconvenience.
- Justin Beiber is famous because he got second place in a contest and is signed on with Usher. He turned fifteen this year, and is a huge teen sensation. (not to popular with me)
- After a survey was taken, it was found out that tweleve year olds have been using inhalents like febreeze and common house hold products, inhaling them, then dying.Theese are used more than any other drug, and are really easy to get a hold of for theese children.
- Obama is going to change the no child left behind act (every student has to be proficiant in grades) by completely renaming it, and instead of making kids make grade requirements and have them just focus on college and their career (being prepared). Now they punish schools too much for doing not what they're suspose to, so instead they want to reward the good schools and get rid of the bottom 5%. Then they want to donate more to the schools in poverty that can't do so well.
- The Chinese government is trying to ban the eating of dog and cat meat. They raise the animals on farms with like six dogs to a really small cage. They hope that if they ban the law, China will seem more civilized. Some of the animals are just stolen to be eaten.
