In class today we had a discussion about the video and also the Great Depression. One big reason for the Great Depression was the dust storms. People couldnt get out or do anything during this time. the farmers had a tough time with the drought. The crops were in bad shape because they couldnt grow. this inturn causesed there income for the year to be lower than usual.Others include wealth wasnt distributed equally among the people, many went into debt on installment plans, industry and agriculture overproduce, and high tariffs and war debts.We went over the topics for our projects. my topic is the Soil Conservation and Domestic Allotment Act and Critics and failings of the New Deal-Long, Caughlin, Townshend.
