Today in class we went over everything we learned on Monday and Tuesday. Since we had snow days on Thursday and Friday, we didn’t share our blogs today like we usually would on Monday. Instead we will share them tomorrow or Wednesday. Mr. Bruns reminded us about our message board posts and to make sure we do our reflective blogs everyday. We talked about extra credit we can get and the tests and quizzes we will be taking. There is a couple different ways we can take a test: a podcast with a group of people, a video from home, or an oral test. The first time we take a map test it has to be oral, but then after that we can take a written test if we choose. Thursday we will be taking a continents/ocean test, we will review this tomorrow. He also talked about the semester test and the semester test blog we will be taking. The semester test will be taken orally. When we give presentations we have to evaluate ourselves on them, Mr. Bruns will also evaluate and grade them. We also went over classroom rules and expectations. Some of them are being creative, being positive, focusing on learning, and staying on task. We get citizenship grades every quarter for not being tardy, participating, and trying our best. After disussing the rules and everything we got assigned into groups.
