Today we are unfortunately we are back in school. We were very fortunate to have a four day weekend because of all of the snow days last week. We got the computers back today and they are a bit slow, probably trying to get reconfigured or whatever in the world they did to them. Our blog topic for this week is to pick something from chapter 15, research, and log about it.Mr. Bruns gave us the questions that we need to answer that are the "Essentials for US History Semester 2". We got into groups today. My group is Kyle and Cuddie. Mr. Bruns can't seem to make up his mind about whether or not to allow groups of four. He says that groups of four are too big, but then he says that for the big projets he might combine a couple groups of two to make groups of four.Mr. Bruns needs some good karma. Late work will not be accepted. Even if we get all of our stuff done the day after Mr. Bruns grades our websites, he wont accept them. As long as we get our stuff done before he grades them, even a minute before, it is still considered on time.Mr. Bruns claims that he will not yell, get in our face, or hold a grudge. I wonder what we could do to test that? Don't be a freeloader. Try not to be the person who lets the rest of the group to do everything and you do nothing and reap the benefits. That works the other way around too. Don't allow others to take advantage of you. Mr. Bruns calls this enabling.Be creative, learn something, don't be late, no swearing, especially no swearing towards the teacher. Cheating and plagiarism is not accepted and will result in either 10 points off of our grade or a detention, multiple offenses result, of course in worse and worse consequences.
