Today, we talked about our next blog assignment. We must define the what Treaty of Versailles was, what the Treaty specifically did, and if I think the Treaty helped lead to World War II(explain). Coming up, most assigned blogs will be on World War II and a group of students, no more the four, must get together and watch a movie and then blog about it. I call Boy in the Stripped Pajamas!!!
Later on in the week, we will be having the first oral test for this semester. We were given the questions to the test about a month or so. When we presented everyone’s New Deal projects, we were supposed to take notes and add information to our test question list. This semester, Mr. Brun’s is really breaking down on giving lots of information during tests.
FDR stacked the court with mainly Democrats so if he wanted to pass a law, technically all the Democrats would be on his side and the law would be passed. FDR wanted to add six justices to the Supreme Court for every guy that was seventy or older. This did not pass, because many people thought he was trying to become too much like a Dictator and corrupt systems of the US.
