Wow! Well I just lost all of my blog so I am not sure how am I supposed remember everything we just saw from the last part of the video. We finished watching it. Well, these people went to tribes to see how it has affected them and stuff. They do checks for poachers and hunters that are cutting down trees, etc. Even though 70% of cancer fighting plants comes from the forests, people continue to destroy them. That doesn’t make sense.There is this one place in like Houston I think, that people are getting very sick from the stinky pollution in the city. The kids are at a very high risk of getting leukemia. But the ship channels aren’t required to change because it is not a law. I think it should be considering people are getting cancer from it.We started our Rwanda blog discussion. The Hutu’s wanted to kill the Tutsis because the Tutsis were going to enslave them if they gained the power back. Almost a million people died in a period of 100 days - that is so bad! The Rwanda genocide is not that well known like the Holocaust for example because it took place in a poor environment. I learned that genocide is the intent to destroy. So, that pretty much sums up the Rwanda incident in 1994. Bill Clinton says that he regrets not trying to help out more. Even though it took place in a small little poor country, he still wishes.Okayy- so I totally just found my 'lost' blog!! What's up with that? Well - here it is ha.Today in CWI, we finished watching the In Peril video. I think it is finally almost over, yay!
