Today we went over the US map. The test for the states and capitals are on Friday, September 3rd. Mr. Bruns assigned a weekly blog post for one current even due on Sunday. We talked about people crashing into the Twin Towers and how other countrys look at the USA and President Bush as a big threat for going to war.
Another topic we talked about was the BP oil spill. It has been going on basically all summer and they just figured out how to fix it.
We also talked about the 33 miners that got trapped underground that are still alive. Good news is that they think they can get the miners out but probably not for a few months.
We are starting to say our five current events from summer, but the bell is going to ring so we probably won't get finished!
