Native American cultures before and after the European settlers arrived.
Before European settlers came to America the Native American cultures were very basic. Live off the land don't take any more than what you need. They had never tried to advance in technology such as electricity or fire arms. Most tribes spoke different languages frrom one another. Some tribes grew crops and stayed stationary while some others mainly in the midwest moved with the wild buffalo for a constant source of food.
After the Europeans settled and began to expand cultures changed dramitically. Many tribes were forced to indian resorvations with other rival tribes. Languages of some tribes are lost in history. They were introduced to the new diesaes and technology of the settlers. The diesaes changed all of the natives lives some tribes were nearly wiped out because of them. The midwest Natives buffalo were killed to near extinction causing there lives to change. But the some of the Natives tried to revolt using guns they would raid settlers house and kill them. Many of there religions changed to the beliefs of the surrounding white folk.
