Today we got the next blog assignment. i got the peace corps! Mr. Bruns then talked about the semester test blog thing. We then started with the WW2 project. we started with the U.S. home front.
The home front is what was going on iont he united states to help win the World War. After the war ended the taxes neededd to be higher to help pay for the war. befor 1944 only 10% paid federral income tax. The economy the prices had a control. they couldnt go to high or go to low same with the wages. The unemployment rate went down cause the men would go fight in the war so the women had more jobs to choos from. Farmers were affected so people would move into teh city to work in factories. students would get out of school during the harvesting time.
