Today we talked about our assigned blogs which were about the new health care reform bill. Under the old system, health care coverage was expensive and people had to buy it through companies they work for or from some other health insurance provider. Most insurance companies would not cover people because of pre-existing conditions which was really inconvinient and unfair for people with diseases or severe medical problems. The new bill will make health care more affordable for everyone and will give people better coverage.
One of the main questions that people have about health care is whether or not it is an important thing that everyone absolutely has to have they are concerned that it will raise taxes.
My blog topic will be about the supreme court judge who will be resigning this year. I will need to talk about who they are and how they have voted in the past and also why they are quitting. Sometime later this week we will be presenting our Hot, Flat, and Crowded presentations.
