The US Home front:
- American Propaganda goals
- Portray the Germans and Japanese as animalistic, demonic, under undesirable
- Rationing- the gov’t gave people less food, gas, rubber, and silk
- War bonds- is how the gov’t got money to pay for the war
- Women in WWII
- They worked in factories, offices, military bases, and journalists
- No good paying jobs
- Low benefits
- Low income
- Low quality facilities for the children
